From 1946 to 1964, Anton Jancsy had a retail art dealership at Spiegelgasse 8 in Vienna's 1st district. It was at the same address as the art dealership managed by Karl Löscher from 1939 to 1977 and the antiques dealer Melanie Penizek. More information about Jancsy's area of business is not known, except for the fact that his wife Margaretha Jancsy, née Hill, (1919–1987) worked there as a saleswoman specializing in twentieth-century art.
